Cerêve has an immediate need for a full time Electromechanical Technician that is innovative and willing to stretch the bounds of creativity. In a dynamic and energizing environment, the Electromechanical Technician will work with our product design teams to create parts used in our prototypes models, evaluate components, perform engineering testing, and develop test fixtures and systems. Candidate must have strong analytical, statistical, database and spreadsheet skills with excellent written and oral communication skills, a Can-Do-Attitude and a willingness to learn. The position requires limited domestic travel (5%).

Primary Responsibility:

-In conjunction with engineering direction, must be able to perform calculations and analysis on data collected from components and finished devices under test a

-Perform testing at the qualification and validation levels using quantitative and qualitative metrics

-Troubleshoots and evaluates technical problems

-Prepare draft and final test reports, generating conclusions where applicable


-Minimum of 5 years of experience in electro-mechanical medical device design and development

-Proven understanding of laboratory measurement equipment and methods

-Must possess experience in developing, conducting, and documenting laboratory tests

-Ability to work from schematics, diagrams, and layouts to perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting functions

-Must be able to create prototype electromechanical devices, including bread-boarding and mechanical fabrication

-Proficiency in MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Educational Requirements:

-Associate Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology

-Training in FDA design control processes a plus
