Successfully launched prescription medical devices and/or self-pay products sold via physician offices driven via both direct sales and direct-to-consumer promotion

Developing and executing sales plan, course correcting, and revising plans as needed

Represent sales in interactions with senior management and Board of Directors

Requirements:

Strong sales pedigree with track record of rapid sales growth (ideally from zero to $100 million+)

10+ years successfully launching and growing novel medical devices or products driven by company-employed representatives doing missionary selling

10+ years’ experience building and managing a sales team

Senior Analyst - Finance, Accounting and Human ResourcesPittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Position Summary:

Cerêve has an immediate need for a full time Senior Analyst that is interested in joining an organization at the ground floor (pre-commercialization).  The candidate will develop and implement fundamental finance, accounting, human resources and other back office processes while supporting the needs of a business with substantial growth potential.  In a dynamic and energizing environment, the Senior Analyst role will evolve.  The candidate should possess the growth potential to be able to eventually help to build out the team as the company grows and transition from an individual contributor to a manager role.

Candidate must be a strong team player, agile learner, and self-motivated. They must deliver the essential job responsibilities, but also have the drive and talent to grow the role and grow with the company.  The job requires strong analytical, organizational, and (oral and written) communication skills.  The individual must possess the ability to map process and implement systems from “scratch” and possess a strong desire to “roll up their sleeves” in a fast-paced start-up environment.  The candidate must also be confident and resourceful when faced with challenges related to a start-up company.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for the development of accounting and internal control policies, processes, and systems in a start-up environment.  

Short-term projects may include implementing:

o   Expense reporting system

o   Electronic payment program

o   On-line employee benefits enrollment platform

Responsible for documenting and maintaining compliance with the accounting policy and internal control procedures.

Support the external audit.

Engage in accounting research.

Learn and execute all routine accounting transaction processing including purchase-to-pay, order-to-cash, payroll, general ledger, and financial statement closing/reporting.

Support preparation of the company’s annual business plan.Prepare financial analysis to understand business performance and support business decisions.Support income & other tax compliance and business insurance renewal activities.

Support basic human resource processes, including benefits administration, job pricing, compensation plans, and employee onboarding.

This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

Physical Demands

This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and typical work hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The employee must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain full-time status.

Travel

Minimal travel is expected for this position.

B.S. in accounting

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in public or corporate accounting
